This is a key foundational role responsible for all back-of-house food preparation and cooking. This person will run all kitchen production during their shift , ensuring ingredients are prepped, cooked, and ready for fast service. This role does not include burrito assembly or customer-facing work —it is focused entirely on behind-the-scenes execution and kitchen readiness. Responsibilities Prepare and cook all core ingredients (proteins, eggs, vegetables, sauces, etc.) Execute full daily prep based on projected demand and production needs Maintain continuous readiness of hot and cold ingredients during service hours Ensure consistency in quality, portioning, and timing Manage kitchen organization, cleanliness, and food safety standards Follow prep lists and systems to ensure smooth morning rush execution Monitor inventory and communicate needs proactively Handle opening and closing kitchen procedures independently What We're Looking For Prior kitchen experience required (line cook, prep cook, or similar role) Ability to independently run back-of-house production during a shift Strong speed, consistency, and attention to detail Comfortable working in a high-volume breakfast & lunch environment Highly reliable and self-directed (this is a standalone role at launch) Strong understanding of kitchen flow, prep timing, and food safety Calm and efficient under pressure Schedule Shift 5:00 AM - 1:00 PM Weekend availability required Consistent morning-focused schedule Why This Role Matters This is a foundational hire.
