In this role, you will be the friendly face that helps customers find what they need, manages inventory with precision, and ensures the store operates smoothly and safely. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will drive sales, maintain product displays, and support daily store operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Store Associate, you will take on independent, trusted responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the store, including: Opening and closing the store independently, including setting up and securing the register and ensuring the space is ready for staff and customers Operating the point-of-sale (POS) system to process sales, returns, and special orders, including book presales and event ticket sales Handling routine inventory tasks such as receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and tracking stock levels Helping coordinate in-store events and book clubs, including setup, hosting, and breakdown Providing warm, knowledgeable customer service and book recommendations to patrons Other tasks as assigned OTHER Must be able to demonstrate a love and broad knowledge of books. Retail or related experience required. Book related experience preferred.

Pay:

$15.00 - $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 16.0 - 24.0 per week
