Full-time; weekend availability required Bryant Beef is looking for a dependable, outgoing, and organized person to join our retail team in Dandridge. This is not simply a cashier position. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working directly with customers, answering phones, accurately taking customer orders and beef cut sheets, operating our point-of-sale system, and helping keep a busy retail meat shop running smoothly. Our retail traffic continues to grow, and we need someone who can remain friendly, accurate, and organized even when the store and phones are busy at the same time. Responsibilities Provide friendly, confident face-to-face customer service. Assist customers with selecting beef, pork, chicken, and other Bryant Beef products. Learn Bryant Beef products well enough to answer customer questions and make recommendations. Operate the Square point-of-sale system and accurately process transactions. Answer incoming phone calls professionally. Take detailed customer orders and accurately complete beef and pork processing cut sheets. Enter and maintain customer information and order details. Assist with phone orders, pickup orders, and customer follow-up. Help keep retail freezers stocked, organized, clean, and presentable. Monitor product availability and communicate inventory needs to the production team. Help receive, organize, and stock retail products. Maintain a clean retail environment. Assist with opening and closing responsibilities. Work effectively during high-volume Friday and Saturday retail traffic. Help with basic administrative work associated with customer accounts, orders, and retail operations. What We Are Looking For The ideal candidate: Is naturally comfortable talking with customers. Communicates clearly and professionally on the phone. Can accurately write down and enter detailed information. Is organized and pays attention to small details. Is comfortable learning meat cuts, products, pricing, and processing options. Can handle several customers, phone calls, and tasks without becoming overwhelmed. Is dependable and arrives ready to work. Is willing to learn and accept responsibility. Can work independently once trained. Understands that Saturdays are an important part of our retail business. Previous retail, customer service, office administration, restaurant, meat-market, grocery, or agricultural experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person. We are looking for someone who wants to become an important long-term part of a growing business—not simply someone looking to stand behind a register.

Pay:

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
