Wardrobe Consultant - Luxury Menswear and Client Development Men's High End Fashion Addison, TX Job Details Full-time $33.63 - $40.50 an hour 18 hours ago Qualifications Professional networking Interpersonal skills Business development High-end sales Prospecting Full Job Description Wardrobe Consultant - Luxury Menswear & Client Development The House of Baumann | Dallas, Texas The House of Baumann is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Wardrobe Consultant to join our team. This is not a traditional retail sales position. We are looking for an established, relationship-driven professional who has built a strong network of clients and understands how to develop those relationships into long-term business. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, self-motivated, polished, and comfortable working with successful executives, business owners, professionals, and other discerning clients. About The House of Baumann The House of Baumann is a premier custom menswear company serving clients who expect an exceptional level of quality, fit, service, and personal attention. From our 55,000-square-foot North Dallas flagship, we provide a highly personalized approach to men's wardrobes, including custom suits, sport coats, trousers, shirts, formalwear, shoes, boots, knitwear, and complete wardrobe planning. Our business goes well beyond selling clothing. We build long-term relationships with our clients, understand their professional and personal lifestyles, and help them build wardrobes that make getting dressed effortless. Our consultants have access to an extraordinary environment, extensive fabric and product selections, private fitting areas, corporate and executive events, and the operational support necessary to deliver a true luxury experience. The Opportunity We are looking for someone who wants to build a significant book of business—not someone waiting for customers to walk through the door. The right individual will already have an established professional network or clientele and the ability to introduce new clients to The House of Baumann. You may currently come from luxury retail, custom clothing, hospitality, real estate, financial services, automotive, private clubs, high-end jewelry, business development, or another relationship-driven industry. Your background matters less than your ability to build trust, develop relationships, generate business, and provide exceptional service. You will be responsible for developing your own clientele while also cultivating opportunities created through The House of Baumann's existing network, events, referrals, and relationships. What You'll Do Develop and manage your own portfolio of clients and prospects Introduce your existing network and relationships to The House of Baumann Prospect consistently and create new business opportunities Conduct private wardrobe consultations and fittings Learn each client's profession, lifestyle, preferences, and wardrobe needs Recommend complete wardrobes rather than individual transactions Develop repeat business through proactive client follow-up and wardrobe planning Build referral relationships with executives, business owners, professional organizations, and community leaders Participate in private client events, executive fittings, corporate experiences, and trunk shows Maintain detailed client information, measurements, preferences, purchases, and future opportunities Work closely with our tailoring, production, and operations teams to deliver an exceptional client experience from consultation through final fitting Who We're Looking For Our ideal candidate is: Established. You already have relationships, a professional network, or a clientele that trusts you and will take your call. Self-Motivated. You don't need someone telling you whom to call or what opportunity to pursue next. Relationship-Driven. You understand that luxury sales is built on trust, discretion, consistency, and long-term relationships—not pressure. Entrepreneurial. You want to build your own book of business within an established luxury organization and take ownership of your success. Polished. You are comfortable interacting with CEOs, entrepreneurs, physicians, attorneys, executives, community leaders, and other successful professionals. Service-Oriented. You understand that the sale is only the beginning of the client relationship. Competitive. You enjoy setting goals, generating business, and being rewarded for your performance. What Success Looks Like A successful Wardrobe Consultant at The House of Baumann doesn't simply sell someone a suit. You become that client's trusted wardrobe advisor. You know when his wardrobe needs to be updated. You understand what is already in his closet. You anticipate upcoming business, social, travel, and formal needs. You introduce him to new seasonal fabrics and products. You earn introductions to his friends, colleagues, and business associates. Over time, you build a substantial book of repeat and referral business. Why The House of Baumann We provide the platform, product, environment, craftsmanship, operational support, and client experience for an exceptional salesperson to build something significant. For the right individual, this is an opportunity to combine an existing network and proven relationship-building ability with one of Dallas's most distinctive custom menswear experiences. We are especially interested in candidates who have an established clientele, strong professional network, or demonstrated ability to generate their own business. If you are looking for a traditional retail position where success depends primarily on store traffic, this will not be the right opportunity. If you are entrepreneurial, connected, relationship-driven, and want to build a serious career and book of business in luxury menswear, we would like to meet you. To Apply Please submit your résumé along with a brief introduction describing your current network, experience developing clientele, and how you have generated new business throughout your career.
