Duties Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges with precision. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and guiding them through product selections. Conduct product demos to highlight features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities. Assist with merchandising and stocking shelves to keep the store organized, attractive, and easy to navigate. Maintain proper cash handling procedures, including balancing registers and managing cash transactions accurately. Use phone etiquette skills to answer inquiries professionally and direct calls appropriately. Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and assisting with inventory counts. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures. Strong communication skills in both English and bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers. Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities are advantageous for team collaboration. Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for transactions and stock management. Knowledge of grocery store operations or retail environments is beneficial. Excellent phone etiquette, customer service orientation, and a friendly demeanor are essential for success in this role.
