Minimum Qualifications Basic computer and math knowledge Must be 18 years old or older Work Requirements Physical requirements: Must be able to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 80 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 50 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Must be able to lift at least 80 pounds from the ground to waist level.

Physical activity includes:

Stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting and repetitive motion.

Experience:

• Previous experience in retail sales is preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
• Knowledge of painting, plumbing, hardware, lawn and garden and tools
• Bilingual in Spanish is prefered
• Forklift Certification accepted-Current Railroad Commission of Texas Certification is also accepted

Skills:

• Ability to sell products effectively and meet sales goals
• Basic math skills for retail calculations and inventory management
• Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues Visual acuity requirements: Salespersons are required to have the visual acuity to perform an activity such as: item identification, preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts at distances close to the eyes.

Sales team members are required to have acuity to accurately measure and cut building materials and to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned or to make general observations of facilities or structures. They must be able to use hand tools and operate machines such as saws, key machines, paint mixing machines and computers. Must able to use company software programs.

Other requirements:

Sales Team Members must be able to operate machines such as pallet jack, computers, various software and internet-based programs, open office, and RF scan gun. Must be able to climb up and down ladders using 3 points of contact and lift properly. Working conditions Salespeople are subject to environmental conditions. Activities occur inside and outside.
