As one of the largest racquet sports retailers, Nexus Sports serves customers both locally and throughout the United States through our retail and ecommerce operations. This is a hands-on position that combines retail customer service with day-to-day store and ecommerce operations. Team members will assist customers during busy periods while also helping with order fulfillment, inventory, stocking, receiving, ecommerce preparation, and other operational tasks. We are currently hiring multiple part-time employees. Additional shifts may regularly be available for team members who are interested in working more hours. This position is a good fit for someone who is dependable, enjoys staying busy, and is comfortable working across different areas of the business rather than performing only one type of task. Responsibilities Assist customers in-store and provide friendly, professional service Operate the point-of-sale system and process customer purchases Assist with customer pickups and online orders Pick and pack Shopify orders for shipment Restock merchandise and maintain an organized sales floor Receive, count, and organize incoming inventory Help prepare, label, and organize products for ecommerce and Amazon Assist with basic returns and exchanges according to company policies Maintain a clean and organized retail and work environment Assist with inventory organization and replenishment Help with other retail, fulfillment, and operational tasks as needed Schedule This is a part-time position averaging approximately 15-25 hours per week .

Our current store hours are:

Monday-Friday:

2:00 PM-11:00

PM Saturday-Sunday:

10:00 AM-9:00 PM Our highest staffing needs are generally: Weekday evenings, particularly 5:00 PM-9:00 PM Saturday and Sunday afternoons and evenings Additional daytime shifts may be available for receiving inventory, packing orders, ecommerce preparation, Amazon preparation, or other operational needs. Applicants with flexible evening and weekend availability are preferred. Employees who are interested in picking up additional shifts as they become available are strongly encouraged to apply. Qualifications Reliable and punctual Friendly and comfortable interacting with customers Strong work ethic Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Organized and attentive to detail Comfortable switching between customer-facing and operational tasks Able to work independently when needed Willing to learn multiple areas of the business Availability during evenings and/or weekends Comfortable standing, moving merchandise, and performing light physical tasks throughout a shift Retail, ecommerce, warehouse, fulfillment, or customer service experience is helpful but not required. Knowledge of racquet sports is a plus, but it is not required. Education High school diploma or equivalent required Current college students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply Bachelor's degree is not required Compensation $12.00-$15.00 per hour , depending on experience, qualifications, availability, and ability to take on responsibility. Approximately 15-25 hours per week , with opportunities to pick up additional shifts based on business needs and employee availability.
