- Assist in food preparation and cooking under the direction of the chef
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas
- Handle and store food items following food safety guidelines
- Support menu planning and execution
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Ability to handle kitchen tools, including knives, safely
- Familiarity with menu planning concepts is a plus
- Strong interest in the food industry and culinary arts
