Duties Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly and guiding them through product selections based on their preferences and needs Educate customers on different strains, consumption methods, and product effects through engaging product demos and detailed explanations Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently for transactions, including cash handling, credit card processing, and receipts Assist with merchandising by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are attractively presented to maximize sales opportunities Conduct upselling by recommending complementary products and promoting featured items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales Maintain accurate inventory records, perform stock checks, and assist with inventory management to ensure product availability Uphold all safety standards, including verifying customer age, following proper cash handling procedures, and adhering to regulatory guidelines Requirements Prior retail sales experience with a focus on customer service in a fast-paced environment such as grocery stores or specialty retail shops Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and basic retail math for accurate transactions Strong communication skills with the ability to explain product details clearly and professionally Bilingual abilities are a plus to better serve diverse customer bases Experience supervising or leading small teams is advantageous but not required Demonstrated phone etiquette when interacting with customers or vendors over the phone Ability to perform merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves and organizing displays efficiently Knowledge of cannabis products or willingness to learn about industry-specific regulations is preferred but not mandatory Join us in creating an inviting atmosphere where customers feel valued and informed!
