The ideal candidate is motivated, friendly, eager to learn, and comfortable recommending products based on customer needs. Previous smoke shop or retail experience is preferred but not required—we provide training for motivated individuals. Key Responsibilities Customer Service Greet every customer with a friendly, professional attitude. Build positive relationships through engaging conversations. Help customers choose products that best fit their needs. Provide knowledgeable product recommendations. Demonstrate product features and benefits. Resolve customer questions and concerns professionally. Sales Meet daily sales goals through product knowledge and excellent customer service. Upsell complementary products when appropriate. Stay informed about current promotions and featured products. Cashiering & POS Operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system accurately. Process cash, credit card, and mobile payment transactions. Maintain accurate cash handling procedures. Balance the register at the end of each shift. Store Operations Maintain clean, organized, and attractive sales displays. Restock merchandise and monitor inventory levels. Assist with weekly inventory counts. Complete all assigned opening and closing duties. Keep showcases, counters, and glass displays clean throughout the day. Teamwork Work collaboratively with fellow team members. Assist in training new employees when needed. Complete daily tasks efficiently and support overall store operations. Technology Use POS software efficiently.

Perform basic computer tasks using:

Google Docs Microsoft Office Email and other store systems Preferred Qualifications 1+ year of smoke shop, vape shop, or retail experience preferred Strong customer service skills Sales and upselling experience Excellent communication skills Reliable and dependable Basic computer proficiency Comfortable handling cash transactions Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus Minimum Requirements Applicants must: Be at least 21 years of age Speak English fluently Be authorized to work in the United States Be able to commute to Waco, TX (76711 or 76712) Be available to work morning, afternoon, or evening shifts Be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
