Job Description

Sherwin-Williams is seeking motivated students for our 2027 Management and Sales Internship within our manufacturing-driven coatings business. Interns gain hands-on experience in store operations, inside sales, and territory support while learning our industry-leading products. You'll assist with customer service, merchandising, inventory, and basic market analysis, working closely with managers on sales initiatives and performance goals. Our collaborative, safety-focused culture offers structured training, coaching, and exposure to long-term career paths in sales, operations and leadership across our global network. Responsibilities Support store and territory managers with daily sales and operational tasks Learn Sherwin-Williams product lines and provide basic product recommendations Assist with inventory control, stock rotation and merchandising displays Participate in customer visits, order entry and inside sales activities Analyze local market trends and support basic sales planning and reporting Collaborate with team members on store performance and customer service goals Complete structured training modules in sales, operations and leadership Support execution of safety, compliance and store standards Contribute to special projects and promotional events as assigned Required Skills Customer service Basic sales techniques Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) Point-of-sale and inventory systems Business and financial literacy Data entry and reporting Time management Written and verbal communication Merchandising and stocking Basic market research
