Internship Summary:

The Danville Baseball Club is home to one of Virginia's most exciting summer baseball brands: the Danville Otterbots (proud members of the Appalachian League powered by Major League Baseball and USA Baseball). Located in Danville, Virginia, the organization's mission is to provide unforgettable, community-driven entertainment while delivering the highest standard of fan experience. The Tickets & Sales Intern will oversee and sell single game, group, and mini plan tickets, then run the box office on game days.

Internship Goals:

Learn the day-to-day business functions of ticket sales and box office operations at a small-market sports organization. Gain hands-on experience selling single game, group, and mini plan tickets. Develop a relationship selling and revenue generating skill set.

Full-time summer internship from Mid-May to the beginning of August. Must be working towards a Bachelor's degree in sales, business, sports management, or a related field. Must be able to work all events and game days. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
