Job Description
RETAIL SHIPPING ASSOCIATE
Role Overview The Retail Shipping Associate will be responsible for stocking products and assisting with the preparation, packaging, and shipping of orders directly to retail customers while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and excellent presentation standards. This role plays an important part in supporting daily shipping operations, maintaining inventory organization and accuracy, processing incoming product, and ensuring customer orders are completed correctly and on time. This position is ideal for someone dependable, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment. What You'll Do You will support day-to-day retail shipping and operational workflow.Responsibilities include:
Prepare, package, and process customer orders accurately and efficiently Ship orders using UPS, FedEx, and other shipping platforms Verify packing slips, labels, and shipment details prior to shipping Ensure products are packed carefully and presented according to company standards Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with inventory organization Pull, stock, and stage products for outgoing shipments Assist with receiving, unpacking, stocking, and organizing incoming product Support general warehouse and operational tasks as needed Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas Assist with shifting priorities and increased shipping volume during busy sales periods Work collaboratively with team members to support overall department goals Required Skills & Qualifications Prior shipping, warehouse, retail, or fulfillment experience Comfortable using computers, shipping systems, and ERP software Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel preferred Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask effectively Strong attention to detail and accuracy Strong verbal and written communication skills Dependable, flexible, and able to work well with others Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time Garnier Thiebaut, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
