We're a local Vermont dispensary, and we like our store to feel that way. Welcoming, down-to-earth, knowledgeable, and comfortable. Whether you're helping one of our regulars or someone walking into a dispensary for the very first time, we want people who can make customers feel at home. We are currently hiring for both full-time and part-time positions , with shifts available throughout the week. We're especially interested in people with flexible availability who can work weekdays, weekends, and shifts between 7:00 AM and 9:00 PM. Cannabis knowledge is great. Retail experience is great. But being reliable, curious, friendly, and willing to roll up your sleeves and help the team matters just as much to us. What You'll Do Welcome customers and provide friendly, genuine service Get to know our regulars and help new customers feel comfortable Help customers navigate our selection of Vermont cannabis products Educate customers about products, potency, consumption methods, and responsible use Learn about the local growers, producers, and brands represented on our shelves Operate the point-of-sale system and accurately handle transactions Verify identification and follow Vermont cannabis regulations Receive, stock, label, organize, and maintain inventory Keep the sales floor, displays, counters, and workspaces clean and inviting Learn new products, promotions, and daily specials Assist with opening and closing the store Complete daily cleaning, stocking, and operational tasks Jump in and help your coworkers when things get busy Help us maintain the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that makes MothaPlant feel like MothaPlant Who We're Looking For We're looking for people who understand that good retail is about more than standing behind a register.

You should be:

Dependable and punctual Friendly and comfortable talking with all kinds of people Willing to learn and take direction Comfortable asking questions when you don't know something Able to work independently without needing to be constantly reminded what needs to be done A team player who's willing to jump in wherever needed Comfortable in a busy retail environment Detail-oriented when handling cash, inventory, and regulated products Interested in cannabis and Vermont's local cannabis community Someone who takes pride in keeping their workplace looking good Retail, hospitality, customer service, or cannabis experience is preferred, but not required. Our scheduling needs include:

Weekdays Weekends Morning/opening shifts Daytime shifts Evening/closing shifts Shifts scheduled between 7:00 AM and 9:00 PM Flexible availability is strongly preferred. If you're someone who can occasionally pick up a shift or help the team when needed, even better. Starting Pay Starting pay will reflect your experience, availability, willingness to learn, and the level of responsibility you're ready to take on. Requirements Must meet all Vermont requirements for employment at a licensed adult-use cannabis establishment Must be able to obtain and maintain any required Vermont Cannabis Control Board employee identification or registration Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform normal retail duties Must be able to lift and move merchandise and retail supplies as needed Must be able to reliably work agreed-upon scheduled shifts Why MothaPlant?
