Our nonprofit thrift store helps fund vital programs for individuals and families affected by domestic violence. We are seeking a dependable, motivated person who enjoys hands-on work and wants to make a positive impact in our community. Position Summary The Part-Time Thrift Store Team Member performs a variety of duties to support daily store operations. This is a cross-trained role that requires adaptability and teamwork in all areas of the store. Key Responsibilities Operate the cash register and assist customers Stock and organize priced merchandise (hard goods and clothing) Support store displays and seasonal decorating Maintain cleanliness and order throughout the store Greet and assist donors with drop-offs Sort, clean, and prepare donated items for sale Hang and organize clothing for the sales floor Schedule and Hours Part-time schedule between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Saturday No evening shifts available Saturday availability is required; applicants must be able to work every Saturday Typical starting hours include shifts between 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Saturdays. Some shift are 11:00-4:00pm Qualifications Reliable, punctual, and able to follow directions Friendly and respectful toward customers, donors, and co-workers Willing and able to perform physical tasks such as lifting and cleaning Enjoys working as part of a team and helping others Must be available during weekday day-shift hours. Anyone attending in-person school won't be available for enough necessary shifts to hire.
