Duties Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in selecting cannabis products based on their needs and preferences. Educate customers about various strains, consumption methods, and product effects. Operate cash registers and point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately while managing cash handling responsibilities. Conduct product demonstrations to showcase new items and enhance customer knowledge. Upsell products by understanding customer preferences and suggesting complementary items. Maintain an organized and clean display area, ensuring all products are properly labeled and stocked. Adhere to all state regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products. Assist in supervising junior staff members, providing guidance on customer service best practices. Skills Proficiency in cash register operations and POS systems. Strong cash handling skills with a focus on accuracy. Basic math skills for processing transactions and managing inventory. Experience in product demos to effectively communicate product benefits. Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers. Sales experience with a knack for upselling products to maximize customer satisfaction.
