Menards Distribution Center is hiring for Warehouse Associates (Forklift Operator/Material Handler) who are responsible for loading, unloading, sorting, staging and transporting products into and out of our Distribution Center.

• 1st shift (6:30AM until 3PM)
• Warranty Center Team Member
• 2nd shift (3PM until 11:30PM)
• Warranty Center Team Member
• 3rd shift (11:45PM-7:15AM)

Starting Part-Time Hourly Rate:

$19.25/HR (1 st ) & $21.25/HR (2 nd or 3 rd )

Starting Full-Time Hourly Rate:

$21.05/HR (1 st ) & $23.05/HR (2 nd or 3 rd )

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Follow Menards safety policies and procedures Safely operate forklift or other machinery Work cooperatively and productively with other Team Members under little supervision Load trucks according to cubic weight, size and characteristics Provide outstanding service with attention to detail and completing tasks in a timely manner Maintain condition of work area (i.e., free of trash, product in correct location, etc.) Perform safety check of powered industrial vehicle prior to operation Locate product in warehouse using manifest or scanning system Use hand-held scanning equipment to add or subtract product from inventory Record quantity of product actually loaded onto manifest system Ensure accuracy of load by verifying quantity with computer inquiry screens Transport product from production/receiving areas using powered industrial vehicle Additional duties assigned by Distribution Center Management
