In this position, you'll be the friendly face behind the counter, serving up delicious ice cream and treats with a smile. Your energy will help foster a fun, fast-paced environment that keeps guests coming back for more. Duties Scoop and serve ice cream and other frozen desserts efficiently and accurately, maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation Assist customers with menu selections, upselling products to enhance their experience and increase sales Operate POS system to process transactions quickly and accurately Maintain cleanliness of workstations, counters, and dining areas by cleaning utensils, equipment, and surfaces regularly Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including processing payments and giving correct change Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth daily operations Uphold sanitation standards by following proper food handling procedures and ensuring compliance with health regulations Assist with maintaining a tidy environment to promote a welcoming atmosphere for guests Work well with team members to deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced setting Skills Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks swiftly during busy periods Basic math proficiency for cash handling, retail math calculations, and quick calculations needed in food industry settings Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures to ensure guest safety Ability to work well in a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure Previous restaurant or food experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential Join us today to be part of an energetic team that values your enthusiasm!
