RESPONSIBILITIES OF A SITE LEAD

Lead and oversee all on-site Jr. Cardinals Flag Football League operations. Serve as the primary YMCA representative for coaches, participants, families and officials. Coordinate game-day setup, field assignments, equipment, schedules and game flow. Ensure games and activities start and remain on schedule. Support and communicate with volunteer coaches and league officials. Monitor participant and spectator conduct and enforce YMCA and league expectations. Maintain a safe, positive and family-friendly environment throughout league activities. Monitor facilities and playing areas for safety concerns and respond appropriately to injuries or incidents. Provide excellent customer service and assist families with questions or concerns. Communicate schedule changes, delays, weather-related updates and other important information. Distribute, collect and properly secure league equipment and supplies. Assist with attendance, site documentation, incident reporting and other administrative responsibilities as needed. Help ensure a high-quality, organized and positive experience for all Jr. Cardinals participants and families. Perform other duties as assigned by the YMCA Sports Department. This is not an exhaustive list of job duties. Other duties, responsibilities and activities may be assigned.
REQUIREMENTS TO BE A SITE LEAD

Current CPR 21 years of age or older. Current state approved first aid certification. Six months minimum experience in refereeing. Up-to-date knowledge of YMCA guidelines designated for the league.
