Duties Supervise daily coffee shop operations, ensuring smooth shift transitions and efficient service flow Lead staff training and development to uphold excellent customer service standards and food safety protocols Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain high-quality standards in line with health regulations Utilize POS systems for accurate cash handling and transaction processing Coordinate shift management by assigning tasks, supervising team members, and ensuring coverage during busy hours Conduct staff interviews, performance evaluations, and ongoing training to foster a motivated team environment Monitor profit and loss analysis to optimize sales performance and control costs effectively Enforce food safety practices, including proper food handling, sanitation procedures, and compliance with health codes Support catering events or banquet services as needed, ensuring seamless execution from setup to cleanup Experience Proven experience in coffee shop environments with a strong background in food preparation and kitchen management Experience in handling espresso machine and latte art Demonstrated managerial skills with experience supervising hospitality teams or managing restaurant operations Familiarity with POS systems for cash handling and sales tracking Hands-on experience with inventory control, food safety management, and food production processes Previous roles involving team training, staff development, and shift management in casual dining or hospitality settings Knowledge of food industry standards including culinary techniques, catering operations, and fine dining practices is preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively through managerial communication techniques Basic math skills for budgeting, profit analysis, and accurate cash handling are essentialJoin us to be part of a lively environment where your leadership fuels success!
