Pay based on experience Greeting customers, responding to questions, improving engagement with merchandise and providing outstanding customer service. Advising customers on type of equipment for specific purposes including skating, water sports, skiing, snowboarding Operating cash registers, managing financial transactions, and balancing drawers. Reconciling daily sales totals, and preparing bank deposits. Directing customers to merchandise within the store. Maintaining an orderly appearance throughout the sales floor. Coordinating day-to-day operations. Securing the building, setting alarms, and locking safes. Inspecting incoming shipments, counting stock, and restocking shelves/racks. Ensuring that company guidelines are followed. Making sure all team members follow company policies, safety rules, and loss prevention guidelines. Setting up and organizing schedules. Providing training to employees. Reporting any problems or accidents to senior management.
