Duties Lead and motivate the retail sales team to meet and exceed sales targets through effective management and coaching. Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) system management. Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, conducting regular stock audits, and coordinating purchasing to optimize product availability. Implement merchandising strategies to enhance product presentation and maximize sales potential. Recruit, interview, and onboard new employees while providing ongoing training & development to ensure team success. Handle customer inquiries with professionalism using excellent phone etiquette and communication skills. Maintain operational standards by supervising shift management, budgeting, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Requirements Proven management experience within the retail industry, including supervising teams and managing retail sales teams effectively. Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and training & development. Proficiency with POS systems, inventory management software, cash handling procedures, and basic math for retail math calculations. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for serving diverse customer bases. Demonstrated leadership qualities with effective managerial communication skills and experience in operational management. Knowledge of retail industry sales techniques, pricing strategies, merchandising principles, and store operations management. Experience with assistant manager roles or shift management is preferred; familiarity with retail product knowledge is a plus.
