Position Summary The Shift Leader helps keep our restaurant running efficiently, cleanly, and smoothly. Reporting directly to the Manager, this role supports daily operations, leads and develops team members, and ensures an outstanding guest experience. The ideal candidate has strong leadership abilities, effective communication skills, and experience in business management and staff motivation. Essential Responsibilities Deliver and ensure an excellent guest experience Maintain and enforce food safety standards Support management team in meeting sales and performance goals Manage food and labor costs responsibly Implement and uphold company policies, procedures, and programs Assist in developing and maintaining quality and service standards Actively pursue and secure catering business through various lead sources Plan, coordinate, and support all catering and event-related activities Monitor and manage food inventory levels Maintain a safe and compliant working environment Supervise, coach, and support crew members Interview, hire, and train new team members Ensure fast, accurate service and exceptional customer interactions Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Demonstrated ability to delegate effectively and efficiently Strong leadership and team development skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends Physical Requirements Shift Leaders must be able to stand, walk, speak, carry items, bend, stoop, and lift more than 35 pounds regularly. The role also involves driving, computer use, and frequent typing or writing.
