An Assistant Retail Store Manager provides support to the Manager of a retail store, either an independent business or a store that is part of a large retail chain. May have primary responsibility for hiring and training retail sales staff. Reviews and monitors merchandise sales, inventory and prices, and directs advertising and promotions. Supervises sales, warehouse, cleaning, maintenance and security staff and prepares work schedules. Responsible for resolving customer complaints.

Job Description
What We're Looking For:
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, who takes pride in their work, has a strong sense of responsibility, and understands that excellent customer service is an important part of operating a successful Self-Storage facility. The right candidate will be someone we can rely on to step into different locations, quickly understand what is needed, and help keep operations running smoothly.Key Responsibilities:
Provide temporary coverage at various Self-Storage locations as needed Assist with all the daily operations of the store Lead Management, property tours, renting units, and selling services Manage customer accounts and resolve inquiries in a timely manner Make collection calls and communicate with customers regarding past-due accounts Conduct daily lock checks to ensure the facility is secure, clean and well maintained Maintain the general curb appeal General cleaning and maintenance of vacant units and the property Regular bank deposits and trips to the post office as needed Administrative tasks, reporting, and other duties as assignedYour Qualifications:
Previous Self-Storage, sales, customer service experience preferred Property Management skills a plus Reliable transportation and the ability to travel between locations- Strong customer service skills to handle difficult situations professionally Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and make sound decisions Basic Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word and Excel High school or equivalent

Schedule:
- 5 Days per Week
- 8-Hour Shift
- Closed Sundays and Major Holidays
- No Nights!
Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hourBenefits:
