Job Summary Job Summary Under the direction of the assigned administrator, the Accounts Payable Lead provides advanced support in the administration of complex and technical financial and accounting functions to Accounts Payable and Associated Student Body (ASB) by performing advanced accounts payable duties, providing hands-on assistance to accounts payable staff, and assisting with workload distribution. EDUCATION REQUIREMENT
High School Diploma (accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education) or Equivalent.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
  • EDUCATION
AND/OR TRAINING
Thirty (30) college units in accounting, business or related field with extensive technical knowledge in Financial Accounting.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
Three (3) years of increasingly responsible accounting experience in accounts payable or related accounting functions.
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE
Experience managing complex or high-volume accounts payable processes, including month-end and year-end closings and school district accounting.
PRE EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENT
