We're looking for a charismatic, people-first Candy Connoisseur Supervisor who will light up the room and make every customer feel like they've stepped into a world of pure delight. The Retail Supervisor oversees daily store operations, leads and supports sales associates, and ensures a positive customer experience while helping meet sales and operational goals. This role acts as a bridge between area management and front-line staff, often stepping in as the manager-on-duty during certain shifts. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership
- Supervise, train, and motivate sales associates
- Assign tasks and schedule shifts to ensure adequate floor coverage
- Provide coaching and feedback on performance
- Resolve staff conflicts and escalate issues as needed
- Assist with onboarding new employees Customer Service
- Ensure staff deliver excellent customer service
- Handle escalated customer complaints and complex transactions
- Monitor customer satisfaction and address service gaps Sales & Operations
- Help meet or exceed store sales targets and KPIs
- Monitor sales floor activity and product presentation
- Support merchandising standards, planograms, and store displays
- Oversee opening/closing procedures
- Manage cash handling, register operations, and end-of-day reconciliation Inventory Management
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory counts
- Coordinate restocking and manage backroom organization
- Identify and report shrinkage or discrepancies
- Process shipments and returns Compliance & Safety
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and loss prevention protocols
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized store environment
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and labor regulations Qualifications Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2+ years of retail experience, including some supervisory or leadership experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic math and cash-handling proficiency
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Preferred
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business or related field
- Experience with POS systems and retail management software
- Prior experience in a similar retail environment (fashion, grocery, electronics, etc.) Skills & Competencies
