We're looking for a charismatic, people-first Candy Connoisseur Supervisor who will light up the room and make every customer feel like they've stepped into a world of pure delight. The Retail Supervisor oversees daily store operations, leads and supports sales associates, and ensures a positive customer experience while helping meet sales and operational goals. This role acts as a bridge between area management and front-line staff, often stepping in as the manager-on-duty during certain shifts. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership
  • Supervise, train, and motivate sales associates
  • Assign tasks and schedule shifts to ensure adequate floor coverage
  • Provide coaching and feedback on performance
  • Resolve staff conflicts and escalate issues as needed
  • Assist with onboarding new employees Customer Service
  • Ensure staff deliver excellent customer service
  • Handle escalated customer complaints and complex transactions
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and address service gaps Sales & Operations
  • Help meet or exceed store sales targets and KPIs
  • Monitor sales floor activity and product presentation
  • Support merchandising standards, planograms, and store displays
  • Oversee opening/closing procedures
  • Manage cash handling, register operations, and end-of-day reconciliation Inventory Management
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory counts
  • Coordinate restocking and manage backroom organization
  • Identify and report shrinkage or discrepancies
  • Process shipments and returns Compliance & Safety
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and loss prevention protocols
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized store environment
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and labor regulations Qualifications Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2+ years of retail experience, including some supervisory or leadership experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic math and cash-handling proficiency
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Preferred
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business or related field
  • Experience with POS systems and retail management software
  • Prior experience in a similar retail environment (fashion, grocery, electronics, etc.) Skills & Competencies
