Our vendors bring together mid-century design, vintage apparel, art, ceramics, records, and one-of-a-kind finds under one roof. We're a place where people come to discover something they didn't know they were looking for. The Role We're looking for an Assistant Manager who loves the hunt as much as our customers do. You'll help run day-to-day operations, support our vendor community, and make sure every person who walks through the door has a great experience. This is a hands-on role well suited to someone who's equally comfortable talking about a 1960s Danish credenza and reconciling a day's sales. Store Operations Open and close the shop, including cash handling, POS reconciliation, and daily reporting Maintain a clean, welcoming, and well-merchandised sales floor Process sales, returns, holds, and special orders Coordinate deliveries, pickups, and large-item logistics Monitor inventory systems and ensure accurate vendor tagging and pricing Customer Experience Greet and assist customers with warmth and genuine curiosity Answer questions about merchandise, vendors, and provenance Handle customer concerns with professionalism and good judgment Build relationships with regulars, designers, and collectors Vendor Support Serve as a friendly point of contact for vendors Communicate sales activity, display feedback, and store updates Help coordinate restocking schedules and seasonal resets Team & Events Support scheduling, training, and daily direction of sales associates Step in as manager-on-duty in the Store Manager's absence Assist with in-store events, markets, pop-ups, and community partnerships Contribute to social media content — photographing new arrivals and highlighting vendors What We're Looking For 2+ years in retail, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or keyholder role Genuine interest in vintage, antiques, design, or the secondhand market Strong organizational skills and comfort with POS and inventory systems Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude Ability to lift 40+ lbs and safely move furniture and fixtures Weekend and holiday availability Reliable transportation Nice to have: knowledge of mid-century design, vintage apparel, or records; photography and social media experience; prior experience in a consignment or collective retail environment.
Pay:
$21.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
