Candy Cloud is a specialty beverage cafe opening our first location in Commerce City (Reunion), Colorado. We offer great tasting, fun, and customizable coffee drinks, lemonades, frappes, smoothies, reVibes, shakes and soft serve ice cream in unique and fun cans. We are looking for a talented Store Manager to help lead the launch our first location and to grow with us as we expand. The ideal candidate will have strong managerial experience in a coffee or beverage shop, proven leadership and organizational skills, and have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment. The Store Manager (SM) is responsible for the overall success of Candy Cloud,ensuring the store operates efficiently and meets its financial and operational goals. The SM leads the entire team, including shift leads, assistant managers, and crew members, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities. This position requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and an ability to troubleshoot issues quickly. The SM ensures that all store policies and procedures are followed, manages inventory and product levels, and delivers excellent customer service while optimizing profits. This role also involves building a positivework environment that encourages growth and collaboration among all team members.Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Development:
○ Lead by example, fostering a positive and productive work environment. ○ Train, coach, and develop assistant managers, shift leads, and crew members to ensure their success. ○ Set expectations and hold team members accountable to meet performance and service standards. ○ Act as a mentor and resource for all staff, encouraging professional growth and development.Operational Management:
○ Oversee day-to-day store operations, ensuring that opening and closing procedures, as well as daily checklists, are completed. ○ Ensure all equipment is functioning correctly and coordinate repairs when needed. ○ Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure product readiness for peak periods. ○ Ensure health, safety, and security regulations are followed and that the store maintains a clean and organized appearance.Customer Service Excellence:
○ Ensure that customer service standards are upheld and that all customerinteractions are positive. ○ Handle escalated customer complaints and issues, ensuring resolution and customer satisfaction. ○ Work with the team to provide a welcoming and efficient experience for all customers, even during busy periodsFinancial Management & Profitability:
○ Manage store costs, including labor, inventory, and waste, to optimize profitability. ○ Monitor and control expenditures and develop strategies to increase sales. ○ Ensure all financial policies, such as cash handling and transaction management, are followed accurately.Strategic Planning & Problem-Solving :
○ Work with the Assistant Manager and Shift Leads to create effective staffing schedules and shift plans. ○ Anticipate and resolve operational challenges quickly, including staffing, inventory shortages, and equipment breakdowns. ○ Adapt to changing business needs and customer demands to keep the store running efficiently.Communication & Collaboration:
○ Maintain clear and consistent communication with assistant managers, shift leads, and crew members regarding store operations, changes, and expectations. ○ Act as a liaison between the store team and upper management to ensure alignment on goals, policies, and procedures. ○ Foster a team-oriented environment, encouraging collaboration and mutual support among employees.Skills & Qualifications :
- Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced retail or food and beverage environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to lead and inspire the team.
- Solid understanding of financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and labor optimization.
