Overview Join our FastVape retail team as a Store Clerk and Key Holder in one of our 3 locations, where you'll play a vital role in creating a welcoming shopping environment and ensuring smooth store operations. As a key holder, you'll be entrusted with opening and closing responsibilities, managing daily store functions, and providing exceptional customer service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your retail skills, lead by example, and contribute to a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding and happy experiences. The ideal candidate has interests in growing within the company and already holds a basic knowledge of vape products and industry standards. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist with product inquiries to foster a positive shopping environment in addition to checking identification for age verification Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for retail sales transactions, cash register operations, and cash handling Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure the store is visually appealing through effective merchandising and product demos Manage inventory levels by stocking new products and conducting stock checks regularly Uphold store security by following opening and closing procedures as a Key Holder, including cash drawer handling and securing the premises (shutting down and locking up) Provide excellent customer service using strong communication skills and phone etiquette to address questions or concerns promptly. Assist in upselling products and promoting store promotions to increase sales and enhance customer satisfaction. Be part of the continued overall success. Experience Previous retail experience with supervisory or supervising experience is preferred but not required Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math for accurate transactions Good written communication skills, strong verbal communication skills, including bilingual abilities, to connect effectively with diverse customers. Experience in merchandising, and stock management is a plus Demonstrated ability to handle cash handling responsibilities with accuracy and integrity Knowledge of retail store product knowledge and customer service best practices is highly valued Able to work independently and without supervision Our team is small, happy and warm and we all work in unison for the success of our entire team.
