Duties Assistant Managers oversee daily floor operations, ensuring that guest satisfaction remains the top priority at our beachside location. Support the General Manager in driving sales growth and operational efficiency. Be responsible for scheduling, inventory management, and maintaining cost controls. Foster a positive work culture and maintain high service standards appropriate for a premium location. Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to uphold the reputation of our location. Conduct interviews and assist with staff hiring as needed. Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and uphold the highest standards of food handling and hospitality management. Qualifications Minimum of 2+ years of experience as an Assistant Manager in a high-volume, full-service restaurant environment. Proven track record of success in managing operations within a fast-paced beachside location or similar seasonal tourist destination. Demonstrated ability to manage P&L, and control labor costs, which is essential for the Assistant Manager role. Strong leadership skills with the ability to recruit, train, and motivate a team. Detailed knowledge of food safety protocols and beverage management. Knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary practices, and kitchen management including cooking, food production, and catering experience. Familiarity with POS systems; proficient in cash handling and inventory control procedures. Demonstrated ability to manage shift operations efficiently within fine dining or hotel environments is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally.
