Assistant Store Manager - $17.00/hour We are looking for a motivated, dependable, and customer-focused Assistant Store Manager to join our retail team. The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager with daily store operations, employee supervision, customer service, inventory control, merchandising, and cash-handling responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have previous retail experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to help maintain an organized, efficient, and customer-friendly store environment.

Supervise and support store employees during assigned shifts. Provide excellent customer service and assist with resolving customer questions or concerns. Help train and guide employees on store procedures, customer service, and company policies. Operate the cash register and ensure customer transactions are processed accurately. Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash register balancing and preparing deposits as required. Monitor the sales floor to ensure merchandise is properly stocked, organized, and displayed. Assist with receiving shipments, restocking merchandise, conducting stock checks, and maintaining accurate inventory. Help ensure employees follow assigned schedules, break procedures, and company policies. Handle customer returns and exchanges in accordance with company procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment. Help prevent merchandise loss by following company loss-prevention and security procedures. Communicate operational, staffing, inventory, or customer issues to the Store Manager. Assume responsibility for store operations when the Store Manager is unavailable. Perform other duties as assigned.
