Duties Lead and manage all aspects of store operations, including sales, customer service, inventory control, and staff supervision Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and improve overall store performance Recruit, interview, train, and develop team members to ensure high standards of employee orientation and ongoing training & development Oversee payroll processing, bookkeeping, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) systems to maintain accurate financial records Manage purchasing, pricing strategies, merchandising, stocking, and inventory management to optimize product availability and profitability Supervise shift management activities ensuring smooth daily operations while maintaining excellent customer service standards Conduct managerial communication with staff through regular meetings, performance reviews, and coaching sessions to foster a motivated team environment Experience Proven management experience within the retail industry, ideally with retail sales team management experience in grocery or general merchandise stores Strong background in supervising staff with excellent organizational skills and the ability to lead diverse teams effectively Demonstrated proficiency in negotiation, customer service excellence, and operational management including inventory control and POS systems Experience with recruiting, interviewing, training staff, and managing payroll or bookkeeping processes Knowledge of retail math for pricing strategies, sales management techniques, and budgeting practices Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to enhance communication within diverse teams and customer bases Prior experience in shift management, cashiering operations, merchandising, stock replenishment, and inventory management is essential Join us as a General Manager where your leadership fuels success!
