Store Manager to lead our retail team to success! In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily store operations, drive sales growth, and ensure exceptional customer service. Duties Lead and motivate the retail sales team to meet and exceed sales targets through effective coaching and performance management Oversee daily store operations including inventory management, merchandising, and cash handling procedures Manage staffing schedules, conduct interviews, and participate in recruiting efforts to build a high-performing team Ensure excellent customer service by resolving issues promptly and maintaining a positive shopping experience Control inventory levels through accurate stock monitoring, ordering, and stock rotation practices Implement pricing strategies and promotional displays in alignment with company policies Supervise cashiering activities using POS (Point of Sale) systems, ensuring accurate transactions and cash handling procedures Conduct training sessions on product knowledge, sales techniques, safety protocols, and operational standards Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations while fostering a safe working environment Prepare reports on sales performance, inventory status, and operational metrics for senior management Requirements Proven management experience within the retail industry or grocery store environment with supervisory responsibilities Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and inventory control Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems, purchasing processes, merchandising, and stock management tools Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are highly desirable Experience in retail sales management including shift management, sales management, pricing strategies, and customer service excellence Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining high standards of cashiering procedures Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively across multiple priorities Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and foster professional development within your staff Basic math skills necessary for retail math calculations such as discounts, totals, and inventory valuation Knowledge of operational management practices including budgeting, training & development programs, inventory control systems, and store merchandising techniques Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience preferred; familiarity with grocery or retail store product knowledge is a plus Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases Join us as a Store Manager where your leadership will make a tangible impact!
