$85,000-$95,000 DOE (Depending on Experience)

Full-Time | Multi-Shift OperationJob SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Warehouse Site Manager to lead operations at our transload facility in the Savannah/Port Wentworth, GA area. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall management of warehouse and transload operations, ensuring products are received, unloaded, stored, handled, and dispatched efficiently, safely, and accurately.

The Warehouse Site Manager will oversee warehouse personnel and multi-shift operations, drive operational performance, and maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment. This position requires strong leadership, operational planning, inventory management, and the ability to coordinate activities across multiple shifts to ensure consistent performance and service levels. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse management, transload operations, distribution, logistics, or a related industry Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate, train, and manage warehouse teams across multiple shifts Experience managing or supporting multi-shift warehouse and transload operations Strong understanding of inbound and outbound freight, loading and unloading processes, and warehouse workflow Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated ability to manage inventory control, logistics coordination, staffing, and scheduling effectively Solid understanding of warehouse safety regulations, OSHA compliance, and quality control standards Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office and inventory software, preferred Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of the transload warehouse, ensuring efficient and accurate execution across all shifts Manage and coordinate multi-shift warehouse and transload operations, ensuring proper staffing, communication, productivity, and consistency between shifts Supervise, coach, and support warehouse staff, providing leadership and accountability across multiple shifts Oversee inbound and outbound freight, including receiving, unloading, staging, storage, loading, and dispatching Ensure freight is handled safely, accurately, and efficiently throughout the transload process Maintain accurate inventory and shipment records and ensure timely system updates Coordinate shift handoffs and ensure clear communication of operational priorities, issues, and outstanding tasks between shifts Optimize warehouse layout, staging areas, dock utilization, and overall space utilization Develop, implement, and enforce safety protocols and quality standards to maintain a safe working environment and reduce operational risk Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track productivity, accuracy, throughput, efficiency, and service levels across shifts Identify operational inefficiencies and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce errors Coordinate closely with transportation, customers, carriers, procurement, and other departments to ensure seamless transload operations Manage staff scheduling, attendance, performance evaluations, training, and development to build a strong and reliable team Ensure appropriate staffing levels across all shifts based on freight volume and operational requirements Address and resolve operational issues, inventory discrepancies, freight damage, shipment delays, and other challenges that arise during daily operations Conduct regular warehouse walkthroughs and inspections to ensure safety, organization, cleanliness, and productivity standards are maintained Ensure consistent adherence to company policies, procedures, safety requirements, and applicable regulations across all shifts Provide regular updates to leadership regarding warehouse performance, staffing, freight volume, inventory, safety, and operational priorities Support continuous improvement initiatives and establish best practices across warehouse and transload operations Salary$85,000-$95,000 DOE (Depending on Experience)
