Seasonal Retail Store Key Holder - Waikiki, Hawaii

THE ROLE

Creative Goods Merchandise, a dynamic full-service merchandising company, is currently seeking seasonal, part-time Key Holders a new immersive experience in Waikiki, Hawaii. We are seeking passionate candidates that exhibit the core values of excellence, have a commitment to safety and commitment to safety and value a collaborative and supportive work environment. The Key Holder position is a non-exempt position and is expected to assist in a supervisory capacity for retail operations for the exhibition, while being an ambassador for Creative Goods and the Event brand. Reporting directly to the Retail Manager and Ops Team, this position serves as a main point of contact for senior management, co-managers, and sales associates, while maintaining clear lines of communication at all levels, and effectively managing the day-to-day operations efficiently and seamlessly. Essential Functions / Responsibilities

• Maintain on-going communication and accurate dissemination of information between on-site sales team and the Creative Goods Corporate Staff, to ensure that all parties are informed of client needs and requests.
• Maintain, and adapt all store visuals and merchandising according to Creative Goods standards and the Event Brand.
• Assist managing staff and oversee non-management staff when necessary.
• Identify, communicate, and delegate appropriate responsibilities to retail staff to ensure the smooth flow of daily operations.
• Oversee opening and/or closing of the store when necessary.
• Demonstrate "the customer comes first" philosophy through staff training and coaching while holding shift leads and sellers accountable for delivering excellent customer service and collegiality.
• Greet patrons and aid in processing all merchandise transactions.
• Maintain working knowledge of all products and prices.
• Ensure lines are managed while maintaining enthusiasm and poise.
• Receive, process, and replenish merchandise inventory as needed. General Qualifications
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Strong basic math skills required.
• Be able to engage with customers, team members, and management in a positive way.
• Maintain enthusiasm, charisma, and focus.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Entertainment industry experience/interest is desired, but not necessary.
• Demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-moving and dynamic environment with ease.
• An organized team player, with a positive attitude and collaborative mindset.
• Ability to multi-task, be efficient at time management, and must be very organized.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and G Suite applications. Working Conditions
• Ability to climb ladders and safely install display elements.
• Ability to maneuver stairs.
• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.

Job Types:

Seasonal, part-time to full-time.

Pay:

$ 20 per hour

Benefits:

Up to 56 hours earned Sick Leave time and Up to 35 hours earned Personal Leave, this role is not eligible for full-time health and 401k benefits.
