Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to oversee daily operations at our retail location. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive retail management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, optimizing store performance, and ensuring a positive shopping environment. The Store Manager will play a vital role in driving sales, maintaining inventory accuracy, and fostering a team-oriented atmosphere to meet business goals. Duties Lead and supervise store staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales Implement effective sales strategies and promotional activities to increase revenue Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction Maintain accurate cash handling, POS transactions, and bookkeeping records Develop and execute employee orientation programs, training sessions, and development initiatives Coordinate purchasing decisions and manage vendor relationships for inventory procurement Monitor store budgets, perform sales analysis, and manage retail math for pricing strategies Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and foster team collaboration Utilize marketing techniques to attract new customers and retain existing clientele Skills Proven management experience in retail or grocery stores with supervisory responsibilities Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, and retail math Skilled in negotiation, purchasing, budgeting, and sales management Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for diverse customer engagement Experience in employee recruitment, interviewing, training & development Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment Customer service excellence with professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills Knowledge of merchandising, stocking procedures, pricing strategies, and retail marketing Ability to supervise shift management while maintaining operational efficiency Administrative experience including payroll processing, bookkeeping, and inventory control Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently Leadership qualities that inspire team motivation and foster a positive work environment This position offers an opportunity to lead a vibrant retail team while contributing to the overall success of the store.
