Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced Retail Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team. Duties Assist in overseeing daily store operations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Lead, train, and develop staff to enhance their skills in customer service, sales techniques, and product knowledge. Manage inventory control processes including ordering, receiving, stocking, and merchandising products. Supervise cash handling procedures and ensure accuracy in all transactions at the POS system. Implement effective marketing strategies to promote store sales and enhance customer engagement. Conduct employee orientation and assist in recruiting efforts to build a strong team. Utilize retail math for budgeting, pricing strategies, and inventory management. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high levels of satisfaction. Requirements Proven experience in retail management or as an assistant manager with strong supervisory experience. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers and team members. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Proficiency in cash handling and bookkeeping practices. Knowledge of inventory management systems and retail math principles. Experience with training & development of staff members. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for enhancing customer interactions. Familiarity with merchandising techniques and marketing strategies is desirable. Strong negotiation skills to facilitate vendor relations and purchasing decisions. Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
