We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Manager to join our team at Head West. As a manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our establishment during your assigned shifts. Your leadership, communication, and organizational skills will be essential in providing exceptional service to our customers and maintaining a positive work environment for our staff.Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant during your assigned shift.
- Lead and manage a team of sandwich artists providing guidance, support, and clear direction.
- Ensure all team members adhere to food safety and hygiene standards, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Assist in the training and onboarding of new employees, ensuring they are well-versed in our menu, procedures, and customer service expectations.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and courteous manner.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in placing orders for supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with the management team to implement and maintain company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages teamwork and productivity.
- Ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded and cash handling procedures are followed.
- Uphold Head West's brand image and values by delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality food products.
- Take initiative to identify and address operational challenges and implement solutions.
- Assist in organizing and executing special promotions, events, and catering orders as required.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service supervisory role is preferred.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in handling cash transactions and basic financial responsibilities.
- Familiarity with food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to providing an exceptional dining experience.
