•You must be at least 18 years of age. Are you interested in making a difference in the lives of young children? Just Us Kids Early Learning Center is looking for a patient and compassionate childcare teacher who has experience working with children ages 6 weeks old to 12 years of age. The Just Us Kid's teacher will help lead developmentally appropriate activities that encourage healthy physical, social, and emotional development for students.

Responsibilities:

Greet families and children during pick up Maintain a classroom environment of safety and respect Perform daily cleaning routines to keep facilities sanitary and safe Close the classroom to prepare for the next day Keep parents and families updated on their students' daily activities and progress in the afternoon

Requirements:

Must love working with young children along with providing a positive, safe, and educational environment Hours needed are Monday-Friday 2pm-6pm (more hours can be available) At least 18 years of age Friendly and reliable Minimum of a high school diploma/GED Pass a criminal history check, physical, drug screen, and TB test before starting at Just Us Kids CDA, Early Childhood Education Degree or equivalent preferred, not required Must obtain 24 training hours of professional development trainings per years (on-site and online) 1+ years of experience working in Child Development or a related field Ability to work creatively and flexibly Assist in closing down classrooms and the center to prepare for the next day.

Preferred Qualifications:

24 completed ECE units CPR and First Aid Certification Experience working in a play-based environment Bilingual in Spanish or Chinese Why you'll love working at
