The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for customer service, ensuring that our shop runs efficiently while providing top-notch service to our clients. As a Oil & Lube Shop Manager, you will lead a team of skilled technicians, manage daily operations, and maintain high standards of quality and safety. Duties
- Supervise daily shop operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
- Manage and train staff in tire service, oil changes, and general vehicle maintenance practices.
- Oversee the use of power tools and hand tools to perform automotive repairs and maintenance.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Maintain inventory levels for parts and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and regulations in all automotive repair activities.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
- Collaborate with technicians to diagnose vehicle issues accurately and develop effective repair strategies. Experience
- Proven experience in an automotive repair environment, preferably in a managerial role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Familiarity with tire services, oil changes, and general automotive repair processes.
- Proficient in using various power tools and hand tools relevant to the trade.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Previous experience working in a dealership setting is highly desirable but not mandatory.
