A Retail Associate Manager assists the manager at a retail store, either an independent business or a store that is part of a large retail chain. Supervises sales associates and retail store operations. Reviews and monitors merchandise sales, inventory and prices, and directs advertising and promotions. May prepare work schedules and hire, train and evaluate sales associates. May supervise warehouse, cleaning, maintenance or security staff. Assists with resolving customer complaints.
Our Assistant Managers need to be strategic in thinking, detail-oriented, organized, visible leaders, and must have the ability to hold their teams accountable to results. As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for working directly with your Store Manager and leading the team to profitability through managing key performance indicators such as oil change count, sales, labor, customer satisfaction scores, and more.

Essential Responsibilities:
Assistant Managers are expected to perform all Lube & Pit Tech duties including oil changes and additional car maintenance services. Advise, train, and supervise employees to help build high-performing teams Provide excellent customer service - lead by example Keep the service center clean and tidy to facilitate a safe and secure working environment Assist the Store Manager in the daily operation and oversight of the service center Support the Store Manager with inventory, labor management, and financial performance of the service center Assume the responsibility and authority of the store in the Store Manager's absence Run the floor - make sure every employee is where they need to be, ensuring every customer is satisfied before they leave Perform opening and closing procedures
Specific Overview:
Your primary role as an Assistant Store manager at Strickland brothers is to ensure the highest level of customer service. It is imperative that you understand how serious we take our customer satisfaction core value. You will be managing the day-to-day operations of the service center. This includes but not limited to ensuring that the operational procedures are completed on each vehicle, training, encouraging, speaking with customers, scheduling/staffing, maintaining a clean service center & meeting KPI's.
