Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist 1st shift Fab Shop Manager with all essential operations of the Fab Department (Lasers, brakes, saws, Prodevco, rolling and machine shop. Knowledge of all processes and equipment for the Fab Department. Encourage team members to enhance production, quality and accuracy to maintain departmental objectives. Reviews daily production schedules, help organize work orders and plan work and personnel assignments for the shift. Ensure all materials, tooling and paperwork are present to complete Work Orders. Report to 1st shift Fab Manager when delays occur, estimates time of delay and when operations will be resumed. Ability to read and interpret blue prints, use basic hand tool including measurement and inspection tools (tape measures, calipers, square, etc.). Troubleshoot problems Possess strong leadership and communication skills.
