In this pivotal role, you will be the heartbeat of our store, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient inventory management, and seamless operational flow. Your leadership will inspire your team to achieve goals while fostering a positive shopping environment that keeps customers coming back. Duties Lead and supervise all store activities, including sales, customer service, inventory control, and staff management. Recruit, interview, and onboard new employees to build a skilled and motivated retail team. Develop and implement sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and merchandising plans to maximize store performance. Manage payroll, bookkeeping, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Oversee inventory management, purchasing decisions, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment to optimize stock levels. Conduct employee orientation, training & development sessions, and performance evaluations to foster growth and accountability. Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure exceptional service standards are maintained throughout shifts. Experience Proven management experience within the retail industry with a focus on sales team leadership and operational oversight. Demonstrated skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and training new staff members. Strong background in retail math including budgeting, pricing strategies, sales management, and inventory control. Experience with POS systems, cashiering procedures, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and cash handling. Familiarity with retail industry sales techniques such as merchandising, marketing initiatives, wireless sales (if applicable), and promotional activities. Supervising experience in a fast-paced environment with excellent organizational skills and time management abilities.
