An Assistant Retail Store Manager provides support to the Manager of a retail store, either an independent business or a store that is part of a large retail chain. May have primary responsibility for hiring and training retail sales staff. Reviews and monitors merchandise sales, inventory and prices, and directs advertising and promotions. Supervises sales, warehouse, cleaning, maintenance and security staff and prepares work schedules. Responsible for resolving customer complaints.

Our store'sfranchisee started as a delivery driver in 1992.
Requirements:
Operate all equipment.

Stock ingredients.

Prepare products.

Receive and process telephone orders.

Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.

Clean equipment and facility daily.
Training:
Orientation and training provided on the job.
Skills Needed:
Ability to comprehend and communicate well verbally and written with customersand co-workers both over the phone and in person.
Work Conditions:
Exposure to temperature changes ranging from 32 to 90 degrees in varying workareas. Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped working areas, hotsurfaces/tools and moving mechanical parts.
Additional InformationPhysical Demands:
Exposure to standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing,stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, reaching and use of hands are to beexpected in performing all job tasks from preparing product, taking orders,cleaning, stocking and operating equipment.
