This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks at once, and a passion for providing quality food and excellent service. We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Store Manager to lead our retail team and drive store success. Your leadership will inspire your team to achieve sales targets, maintain inventory accuracy, and uphold the highest standards of store presentation. Responsibilities Leadership & Staff Management Supervise, motivate, and lead a team of employees to ensure efficient operations. Schedule and assign duties to staff, ensuring appropriate coverage during peak hours. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback, coaching, and training to staff. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and company regulations Lead and motivate the retail team to meet and exceed sales goals through effective management, coaching, and training. Recruit, interview, and onboard new employees while providing ongoing employee orientation and development initiatives. Handle purchasing decisions, pricing strategies, and merchandising to optimize product presentation and sales performance. Supervise cashiering activities, ensuring excellent customer service, phone etiquette, and efficient checkout processes. Maintain operational standards by managing payroll, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations. Foster a team-oriented environment through effective managerial communication, supervising staff shifts, and promoting leadership development. Demonstrated ability in recruiting, training, supervising, and developing retail staff with strong organizational skills. Prior experience in shift management, merchandising, stock control, and customer service roles is highly desirable. Customer Service Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting customers, addressing concerns, and resolving issues. Train staff to maintain a high standard of service and hospitality. Ensure customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business. Inventory & Ordering Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supply of bagels, spreads, beverages, and other necessary products. Order supplies and ingredients in a timely manner to prevent shortages. Track and control food and beverage costs while minimizing waste. Financial Management Oversee daily cash handling, including balancing registers, deposits, and monitoring sales. Maintain accurate records of sales, expenses, and employee hours. Monitor store performance and implement strategies to meet or exceed sales goals. Quality Control & Cleanliness Ensure the restaurant maintains high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food quality. Regularly check food preparation areas and dining areas to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are upheld. Marketing & Community Engagement Work with the marketing team to promote the restaurant's specials, events, and community involvement. Establish and maintain relationships with local businesses and the community. Reporting & Administrative Duties Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales, expenses, and inventory. Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting for the restaurant. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent (College degree preferred). 2-3 years of experience in food service management or a similar role. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the foodservice industry Basic understanding of financial management, including cost control and budgeting. Passion for food and customer service Must be willing to commute to locations within 15-20 miles of Fall River Physical Requirements Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.
