Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Retail Shift Supervisor to lead our retail team during daily operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee store activities, ensure excellent customer service, manage inventory, and support sales growth. Your leadership will inspire team members to deliver outstanding retail experiences while maintaining operational excellence. Duties Supervise daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, to ensure smooth functioning throughout shifts Lead, motivate, and manage retail staff by providing training, coaching, and performance feedback to foster a high-performing team Oversee customer service interactions, resolving issues promptly and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers Manage inventory control processes, including stock replenishment, merchandising, pricing accuracy, and stockroom organization Handle cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems, perform cash handling duties, and oversee cashiering activities Coordinate purchasing activities and assist with vendor relations to ensure product availability and optimal inventory levels Support marketing initiatives and promotional displays to boost sales and enhance store visibility Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and operational procedures at all times Qualifications Proven supervisory or management experience within the retail industry, especially in sales team management or shift supervision Strong knowledge of retail operations including inventory management, POS systems, merchandising, and sales management Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases Demonstrated skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and budgeting Ability to handle basic math calculations accurately for cash handling and inventory control tasks Experience in retail math applications such as pricing strategies and sales analysis Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment Previous experience with wireless sales or grocery store operations is advantageous Exceptional leadership qualities with a focus on team development and operational management Proficiency in phone etiquette and customer service excellence is essential Join us as a Retail Shift Supervisor to lead our team with enthusiasm and professionalism!
