Cannabis Retail Shift Lead - Portland, ME (Full Time) Join the team at HIGHLY's newest location in Portland! You'll help create a welcoming experience for customers, support day-to-day store operations, and work alongside a great team in a dynamic retail environment. What You'll Do:

Support daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, inventory management, and delivering exceptional customer service Stay informed on product offerings, state cannabis regulations, and company polices to confidently assist customers and maintain compliance Help create a welcoming store environment that encourages customer loyalty and repeat visits Lead by example in providing positive, professional, customer experience Assist with training new team members, as needed Follow and help uphold standard operating procedures, (SOPs) and compliance requirements Provide schedule flexibility, including availability for evenings, weekends and holidays as needed Who We're Looking For We are looking for a motivated and dependable Shift Lead who enjoys being part of a team and helping create great customer experiences.

The ideal candidate:

• Has at least 2 years of retail experience (cannabis experience and prior supervisory exposure a plus)
• Is interested in cannabis and willing to learn more about Maine's recreational cannabis laws, regulations, and company policies
• Is organized, professional, positive, and contributes to a supportive team environment and clear communication
• Can confidently support store operations, including cash handling, inventory management, point-of-sale systems, and store procedures
• Has strong problem-solving skills
• Dependable, has reliable transportation and is available for flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, holidays and inclement weather
• Meets physical requirements of the role, including standing or sitting for extended periods, performing manual tasks, and lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds
• Holds (or can obtain) a valid Individual Identification card from the Maine Office of Cannabis Policy.
