This role serves as the primary business leader for both studios, driving membership sales, client retention, local marketing efforts, and employee development. As the face of the studios, the General Manager leads by example, actively participating in sales activities while creating a high-performing culture focused on exceptional customer experiences and business growth. The successful candidate will be accountable for achieving revenue goals, building strong teams, and ensuring operational consistency across both locations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth Drive membership sales, package sales, retail sales, and client retention across both studio locations. Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals. Lead all sales activities, including lead generation, consultations, studio tours, membership presentations, and client follow-up. Monitor studio performance metrics and implement action plans to maximize results. Utilize CRM systems to manage lead pipelines, conversion rates, retention metrics, and sales reporting. Ensure consistent execution of sales processes and best practices across both studios. Team Leadership & Development Recruit, interview, hire, train, coach, and develop studio employees. Schedule and manage staffing levels to support operational and business needs. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and accountability. Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on sales performance, client service, and professional growth. Recognize and reward strong performance while addressing performance concerns appropriately. Operations Management Oversee operations of two studio locations. Ensure studios maintain company standards for cleanliness, organization, appearance, and safety. Manage scheduling, inventory, supplies, and operational procedures. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations. Coordinate maintenance issues and facility needs. Customer Experience Deliver an exceptional member experience from first contact through long-term membership retention. Build strong relationships with members and local community partners. Resolve escalated customer concerns professionally and effectively. Monitor client feedback and identify opportunities to improve service and retention. Promote a welcoming, inclusive, and service-focused environment. Marketing & Community Outreach Develop and execute local marketing initiatives to increase awareness and generate new leads. Coordinate studio events, networking opportunities, referral programs, and community partnerships. Build relationships with local businesses and organizations to support studio growth. Support corporate marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns. Administrative Responsibilities Prepare and review sales and operational reports. Manage labor costs and ensure appropriate staffing levels. Track key performance indicators and make data-driven business decisions. Attend required meetings, training sessions, and leadership development programs. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of three (3) years of successful sales experience in a customer-facing environment. Minimum of two (2) years of leadership or management experience preferred Fitness, wellness, hospitality, retail, or membership-based business experience preferred. Proven ability to achieve sales goals and drive business growth. Experience hiring, training, coaching, and managing employees. Strong computer skills and CRM experience. Ability to travel regularly between assigned studio locations. Reliable transportation required. Ability to work a flexible schedule including occasional evenings and weekends.
