The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, retail management experience, and a deep understanding of compliance in the cannabis space. This role will be responsible for day-to-day store operations, team development, compliance oversight, and sales performance. Key Responsibilities Champion TheChronicMI brand and ensure consistently exceptional customer experience Lead and manage daily operations, ensuring compliance with all state and local regulations Develop and implement store policies, procedures, and operational standards Hire, train, coach, and evaluate team members to ensure high performance Collaborate with corporate leadership to execute sales strategies and hit performance targets Oversee inventory management, METRC tracking, and product procurement Maintain accurate financial and compliance records, including manifests and cash handling Educate staff on cannabis products, consumption methods, and industry trends Serve as a liaison between the store, community, and corporate office Conduct performance reviews and apply rewards or corrective actions as necessary Ensure security protocols and store opening/closing procedures are followed Attend industry events, expos, and training sessions as needed Step in to cover shifts or support store operations when staffing is limited Qualifications 3+ years of retail management experience; cannabis industry experience preferred Strong knowledge of Michigan cannabis laws and compliance practices Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and team-building skills Ability to manage conflict and lead with professionalism and integrity Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS/inventory systems Must be 21+ with a valid state ID and eligible to work in the cannabis industry Ability to lift 35 lbs (up to 100 lbs with assistance) and stand for long periods Why Join Us?
