Supervises sales associates and retail store operations. Reviews and monitors merchandise sales, inventory and prices, and directs advertising and promotions. May prepare work schedules and hire, train and evaluate sales associates. May supervise warehouse, cleaning, maintenance or security staff. Assists with resolving customer complaints.

The Role The Assistant Store Manager is a leadership development position designed for someone who wants to build a long-term career in retail management. You'll work alongside the Store Manager to learn every aspect of operating a successful grocery store while helping lead the team, improve efficiencies, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys leading people, solving problems, and finding better ways to get things done. What You'll Do Learn all aspects of daily store operations Lead and support employees across all store departments Assist with scheduling, staffing, and daily operations Help improve store processes and operational efficiencies Ensure fresh, high-quality products throughout the store Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve customer concerns Monitor key performance metrics and support store goals Prepare to confidently lead the store in the Store Manager's absence What We're Looking For Qualifications Retail and/or customer service experience Basic computer skills, including email and Microsoft Office Strong communication and leadership potential Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment We're looking for someone who is: Positive, dependable, and customer-focused Hungry, humble, and smart Coachable and open to feedback Confident enough to lead while continuing to learn Excited to challenge the mindset of "that's how we've always done it" Schedule & Compensation Full-time (approximately 45 hours per week) Five-day workweek, including weekends and one evening shift Compensation salary range of $55,000-$65,000, depending on experience Clear path to Store Manager, with future earning potential of approximately $80,000 annually plus bonus opportunities Why This Role If you're looking for more than just your next job, this is an opportunity to build a career.
